This is a "name that tune" as it’s bugging me and I can’t get a clear enough piece to shazam it.
It is from BBC review of the Olympics, 11 mins in, covering the swimming, the music in the background is from a film soundtrack and I just can’t place it.

    If anyone could help?

    Thanks.

It's Graeme Revells theme for the "The Crow", or more accurately 'Rain Forever' which plays throughout the movie.

It might not sound like what you think matches up with the swimming review at 11mins but it does kick in at 2.09mins of the 2.32 track.

Mate you're a star, it's been on the tip of my tongue all day.
I assumed as I knew it well, it must be from my blu collection. It's amazing how the brain retains information, The Crow was one of our student day favourites on good old VHS back in '94, and I don't think I've watched it since '97!
    Cheers.

No worries mate, it was hearing that tune again that prompted me to watch the movie again, albeit on the rather dire EiV blu release. Tell you the truth, even for such an old movie its still a cracking watch and a lot of thats down to Brandon Lee; makes you wonder what more he could have accomplished if he hadn't have been killed making "The Crow".

All we need now is a decent version of this to come out, with the proper soundtrack in DTS-HD and with all the extras, and uncut version, found on the Miramax R1 Collectors Edition DVD.

Now how about some quit-pro-quo, there's another tune that plays out over some of the Olympic highlights and its a cover version of R Kelly's "The Worlds Greatest", a lot slower and more melodic and definitely sounds female but the BBC have no idea who sings it!?

Does anyone know when this highlights bit will be repeated ? I'd quite like to record it until some sort of blu ray highlights are out.
