I know someone who is trying to sell a Nakamichi AV10, but they don't know how much to sell it for. Does anyone have any ideas? It's in good condition with the original box.
And also are they any good, as i've considered it for myself?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi.

I used to have a Nak AV10, and I thought it was OK (especially with music), but it's getting on a bit now and has probably been been pushed down the sound quality ladder by later, cheaper models. I replaced the Nak with a Denon AVR3802 which, in my setup, definitely bettered the AV10 for both movies and music.

I just sold my Denon for £280.00 so I would suggest the Nakamichi AV10 is worth no more than £250.00, and probably £225.00 I would personally find more reasonable as it is Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 compatible only, with no Dolby Pro Logi II decoding, either.

However, matched with "bright" sounding speakers it may be just the job.

    Hope that helps :)

    All the best,

    Mark
