Anyone want a Nakamichi AV1pre. All of a sudden stopped powering up, done the obvious and checked fuse. Have since changed my set up and this is just sitting on shelf collecting dust. I am sure if I can find the original thread on these a few people experienced similar and got at easy fix.

Original manual can be downloaded here https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1619/4199/files/AV1_user_manual_opt_1.pdf?18446423875211362010

I am sure Ian at IOTA will have a fix for this, as he was an absolute star with anyone who had issues when these came out, however I have long got rid of original box. Do have the remote.

Due to current not working status looking for just £75 collected. Nr Maidsone Kent.

. If the issue is looping error with "loading..." sign, changing two capacitors labelled as C18 and C19 could fix it. The values on these are:
C18 330μF 16v 105°c Panasonic 330uf 35V / Nichicon 330uf 16V
C19 1000μF 16v 105°c Panasonic 1000uf 50V / Nichicon 1000uF 16V

Local electrical repair shops should be around tenner for soldering both caps but also these are easy to do it by yourself.

Fully working unit last sold here was for £100. If you managed to fix it, I would be interested in similar pricing. GL

Not powering up at all as if a fuse. Checked plug also changed one on back of unit.
