    Hello all,
I am new here and after some advice, I have Nakamichi 10s dvd player
for about 2 years and its given up playing dvd's - when you load a dvd
it just comes up with no disc. Sometimes if i remove the power cord and
replace it will read a dvd. Some dvd's it will play but only after about 4
tries of loading it. It always plays audio CDs though.
Dose anyone know whats wrong with it? I have cleaned the
lens but to no avail - is it worth getting it repaired? Its suppose to be a very
good quality player or has it been surpassed by newer players?
    thanks in advance.
