    Hi everyone,

I've enjoyed reading the forums for a year or so but only just got round to signing up. I'm considering getting rid of my Sony KV-28DX30U. My question is, since I have a Pace Twin (soon to be replaced by a Media Center PC) and an Arcam AV300/KEF2005.2 setup, is there any benefit to be derived from buying an LCD TV, as opposed to a high-quality LCD monitor? Also, how far away is picture quality on the best LCD display from that of my trusty CRT?

Depends if you need the connectivity of a TV i.e. scart for SKY or whatever. SOme people on here have used the Sharp 37" monitor with no problems, I use the 37" Aquos but with no speakers attached, but then I wanted to use SKY+. Make sure that you get a HDMI or DVI-HDCP for future Hi-def. The Sharp Aquos does, not sure about the monitor.
