i have the above combo and have a question regarding connecting them together. i want to connect both so the 370 is running the stereo pair in av as well as music. which inputs do i connect the t752 to? i would like not to have to set the volume to twelve every time i want to watch a movie. can it be done? i have looked at the manuals and they just confuse me even more!

    thanks

Thanks for the info, i know that both are capable of power amp duties, but what i want to know is the best way to connect the two so that i'm using the stereo amp for stereo and the av amp for films. by connecting the two using the preouts on the av and into the c370 using a line level, i'm having to adjust the volume to twelve on the stereo amp, which is a pain in the arse.

    anybody any ideas?

    I have a T762 & a C370..
Pre outs from T762 (front) go into a QED MA20.
Pre outs from C370 also go into QED MA20.

Outputs on QED MA20 feed the T762 main front ins and the C370's main ins.

The T762 drives my mids & tweeters and the C370 my bass drivers (Three way Floorstanders).

For HI-FI without sub, I use C370 pre amp section.
    For HT, I use T762.

This way, my fronts are always bi-amped.

    Hope this helps.

yeah that helps, where did you get the qed thingy from? would it be possible to not use the t752 at all, just the pre amp and power of the c370 for stereo?

Bought the QEDMA20 in a local hifi shop for about £30.
Was previously using a cheap switchbox from Maplins.

You could just use the C370.
I chose to use all amplification and bi-amping does make a diference for me.

Just run pre outs from t752 to the switchbox, pre outs from C370 to switchbox and a single pair out to the C370's main ins....

    Easy peasy sounds superb!

tried it like that bobbypunk, but was not convinced that the pre amp in the t752 was as good as the c370. did not really give it an extended listen, will have to try it.

i tried the same setup and there wasn't a noticeable difference to me. After experience of NAD i'd be suprised if there a/v amps are much of a compromise over their intergrated!

Infact NAD AV receivers are tuned to match and perform quite similar to NADs stereo amps.

I often flip between the T762 & C370 pre amps when playing a CD and there is not much in it..
Although the C370 does have a lower noisefloor..
