Hi guys, was just wondering if someone could help me - I have an ancient series 20 NAD amp, which has been lovingly looked after and actually looks quite nice in my setup. My question is, can I plug the spare coloured wires that are hanging out of my TV into the back of the NAD amp to get sound running through it?

To explain that more clearly, I have the component(?) lead - the one with the HD switch on - running into the back of my HD tv, so can the other wires - the ones you'd usually use for the scart socket be used on the amp?

Sorry for the long winded post, but I'm new to all this you see!!

    Cheers.

BTW it doesn't have to be a NAD amp, just any amp in general?

Yes you can but you will only get stereo sound like you would through the TV only amplified obviously.
