Nad d3020 remote help

Active Member

I have a nad d3020 and have been having issues with the remote. It is not very responsive and you have to press the buttons several times before anything happens. I have found that pressing hard below the volume down button helps but this is not a solution.

Also can anyone recommend the best way to get the battery hatch open on the remote as they do not supply you with a tool. I managed to get it open with a paper clip but can't get it open now.

Any ideas or any suggestions on a better remote to get. It a shame there is not a app to control it.

Any help is appreciated

Any help with this?

No help, just another complaint. The NAD DR-2 remote is a piece of junk.

The battery never makes proper contact in that flimsy holder, one needs to hit the remote on the table a few times before it works. After a few minutes, same story.

Can't believe NAD spends so much time design the NAD 3020 (so they say) and then gives you useless piece of junk for a remote.

If you intend a setup using the NAD DR-2 remote, don't buy it.

Best of all, when complaining to the dealer, I was invited to send it in for "Repair" at my cost - two days after receiving it.
