on my NAD C370 amp, there are 2 pre amp outputs, one of which you connect to the power sector of the amp via small metal plugs which fit into the appropriate RCA sockets. problem is i have lost one of these plugs, so am using a phono cable. will this cause too much harm to the system in terms of sound quality?
thanks (p.s., i hope you can derive what i am talking about and understand my lack of terminology)

in theory it could actually be an improvement if you are using high quality cables that are as short as possible.

Should be no problem at all. I replaced both links on my C320BEE with a spare QED Qunex 1 and it made an improvement.
