NAD C368 BT vs line input signal level

Novice Member

I stream music into my NAD C368 via a 1st Gen iPad Air. The connection is usually via Bluetooth, and the quality of music is limited to the capabilities of BT. For certain types of music, where I want higher quality streaming, I choose to connect via the 3,5 mini jack (or lightning port), only to find that the output power is somewhat lower compared to the BT connection.

Not the end of the world, but since I need to crank the volume higher for line-connection it becomes a problem when I change source, and the volume becomes too much if I am not careful.

I have searched the web but could not find any sources or related technical details (may be that I could not comprehend the C368 spec sheet). Is it normal that C368 has different input signal levels for BT and line? Or is it the iPad Air that have different output levels for BT and line-out (mini jack and lightning alike)?

Many thanks in advance, and apologies if I had mis-used terminology,
