I've got a new NAD seperates system from Superfi. C515BEE CD player and a C325BEE amp with Tannoy Custom F1 speakers. The CD player was replaced by Superfi straight away because it wouldn't read cd's. The Amp also seems to have a fault. It sounds and seems to work correctly, however, maybe twice during a CD album, there will click from the amp (sounds like a relay operating inside the amp) and the music stops for half a second. Then it continues playing correctly untill it randomly does it again.

The fault has also occured when playing from an ipod, connected with a cable to the aux.

Is there a fault with the amp, or is something else maybe causing it??

I'm very happy with the system, sounds very good, I just want it to work!

    Cheers for any help, Simon

Yep, sounds like something is tripping a relay. Clearly a fault. Take it back and get a new one.

Doesn't sound good. How often would this happen?

Anyway, I would take it back if new, as this sounds like it will only get worse. :(
They kit they sold you is faulty, not they had any knowledge of it. Get a replacement, not a fix or your money back. :smashin:
