NAD 451 Remote required....

The remote for my amp has given up the ghost.

It's showing all the symptoms of a stuck down button, but if I take button pad off it is still projecting.

Struggling to find a replacement, any ideas chaps?

Model is NAD 451 remote for a C350 Integrated amp.

Not sure what you mean by taking the button pad off. Have you stripped it completely?

If you can't fix it then this cheap One4All seems to support your amp.

Thanks for that, I see it does list codes for NAD so I guess its worth a punt at £13.

I hve emailedwww.sevenoakssoundandvision.co.uk to see what they say, if anything.

And yes, I opened it up and removed the rubber keyholding mat. which proves that something has gone open circuit as no button can possible be stuck down.

Could be dirt on the board or even residue from a pad breaking down. Try cleaning the board with a solvent. Isopropyl alcohol is favourite.

Heard back from Sevenoaks, and they say the SR8 will work but is currently out of stock.
