Anyone here have opinions on NADs monster 218THX?

I know it gives 225 watts per channel into 8 ohms and can be bridged (giving 780 watts! into 8 ohms) but how does it compare to the likes of the Rotel 200wpc amps?

Retail is £849 but qed-uk.com do them at £650. You could start off with one and build up to 3 (with one bridged for the centre speaker) for a 5.1 set up - that's 1.7Kw of power for under £2K.

I've read audioreview.com and the opinions are generally good but have any avforums members actually reviewed it?

    Thanks,

    Matt.
