    hi all,

bought myself my first plasma screen a mz-42pz45v from rs connected it to my sky+ via a S video lead and to my dvd via scart from dvd to phono rca lead in to the screen, i was watching england on the screen and when the camera panned out so the player images were quite small they had a fuzzyness around them phoned rs who said it was sky, phoned sky who said 50% signal and quality strengh was fine so i put a dvd on this worked like a dream
so i presume it is the sky
    all connections are ok.

has anybody else had the same problem? and ifso how do I overcome it

what is the best connection to use from my sky+ to my screen?

i have a panny and the image on that was fine...its not fantastic on footy but was fine...I also have a tiny and that did exactly what you are describing...bbc footy i always find especially bad on both screens....i do not know your plasma but you would maybe find a js rgb to vga converter a much better option than s-video, or even rgb scart.

there is also lots of info on here if you do a search and normally one or two for sale in classifieds.

If you have scart input on your plasma a much cheaper option worth trying first is a scart lead bewteen sky and teh screen...set sky to ouput rgb in the services / picture settings menu and use a scart lead that carries rgb signal.
