    Hi all,

The missus bought me a Yamaha HTiB-45 set for Xmas - and last night i was playing an audio cd quite loudly through the set up, and i've just noticed that my centre speaker is dead.

I've swapped it with one of the other fronts and they work fine on the centre channel, so it must be the speaker.

    Its only 4 months old!

Do i go back to the original retailer (unbeatable.co.uk) or is it Yamaha - i'm worried as i dont remember sending off any warranty card.

It's the retailer that you need to deal with. It doesn't matter about the warranty card as long as you still have the receipt

Spoke to them, They are repairing it - not replacing it which i find a bit odd.

If i'm going to have future problems with this speaker, is there one that someone could recommend to replace it, as I have previosuly read that people tend to upgrade the centre speaker on this set up anyway.

(must be silver and not huge!)

    Ta again
