My Sky Plasma

Well, I bought the Sky Ultimate Viewing package (against mostly bad reviews) and it arrived last Tuesday - I've had nearly a week to play with it and I've got to say I'm impressed. My main source is Sky which is good quality from most channels but DVD's are outstanding. Even pictures from my DVDR70 are as good as the original source. :)

I've just ordered Sky+ so I'll report back on the quality once that has been installed.

I know it isn't by any means the most cost effective or best quality but I love it :D

I can imagine a lot of people would be tempted due to the interest free offers which go with these deals. I know I was!

As soon as I read the Sky magazine and looked at the deal over 3 yrs in December that started me thinking that I could afford a plasma without laying all the money out.

As it is Home Improvement loan came to the resuce in the end!

Samsung. Sky get their share of the profit on this, I'd cut out the midddle man if I were you.
thanks for the info, ideally i would like a panasonic, with wall bracket and with the best finance deal i can find.

Its NOT a Samsung. Its a Daewoo. I had one and sent it back.

On comparison to a 42PD3000, Sky is a LOT worse, DVDs are millions of times worse for banding problems, and its over a grand more expensive than my 42PD3000.

Glad you are happy, but you have definateley been had, sorry to say.

I hope Sky give better backup service than Samsung if you've got a problem!
