My new samsung arrived last friday  . Haven't had chance to set it up as yet (got to buy a unit for it to stand on tomorrow). Are there any running in tips i should adhere to to avoid causing any damage, lowering the brightness etc, for the first 100 hours or so.

I'm seriously considering buying this model. Please let me know what you think of it once you've had a chance. Where did you buy it from and for how much (if you don't mind).

Did you see it first before buying it, if so where ? That's the only problem at the minute - no where seems to have it to dem it.

Please please post some pics when you get it up and running, I think you may be one of the first on here to get the 61 range.

Does this one do real PIP and PAP, I believe the old one only did PC input in P, I'm looking for a replacement for my Sony 36FS70 wich has excellent PIP/PAP functionality.

The whole "lowering the brightness" thing refers to plamsas. This can help reduce screen burn but as its not possible on LCD's you dont need to worry.

They're listed on futurehome. About £1250, although they had the 41 / 51 model at about £120 more expensive than you can buy it in some online stores.

Am I right to think this model does not come with a digital tuner ? If yes - any rumours of a model in this style with dvb ?
