    Hi there

I am wanting to purchase a new speaker setup to sit with my PIONEER VSX-AX5i..... I am currently looking at the new Sat genie system from mordaunt short but will it be able to handle my 5Mx4M room ?

I know they are pretty new speakers ,but if anyone has them or keff eggs or the avant premier plus setup let me know there thoughts? I am not asking about sound quailty just filling the room... Can they do it?

I can accommodate floor standers but thats an option at the moment, and I would rather save space if possible and its just so much easier to wall mount the sats.

But I dont want to waste money on sats if they are not up to the job
    I watch movies mainly

If push comes to shove I will get the EVO 3B setup

    your thoughts?

    cheers

    T

The 2005.2 are enough to play more than loud enough in your room, make sure your receiver has a 120hz setting for the crossover... :smashin:

Of course Q1s or other regular size monitors should sound better with proper power, I would stay away from floorstanders, sat/sub are easier to fit in a normal room without bass problems...

    Ah Antonio,

So this is where you have been hanging out!

    Teresa,

In this instance I would go along with what Antonio suggested, For AV duty sat/subs are the best combination IMO. For music however.... ;)

Yes, every where else is too agressive nowadays, except for Audio Asylum...

It works as well for music, believe me... :lesson:
