Mate, just a heads up, remote play is absolutely shocking on the Vita. It’s rarely decent quality. The Vita’s WiFi isn’t strong enough for solid streaming.

I’d strongly recommend you have a look at streaming apps for iOS/Android/Windows/MacOS instead. You really need a device that works on 5Ghz for a decent experience.

R-Play for iOS is excellent IF you have 5Ghz wireless available. You can play with on-screen controls, but an MFI controller is preferable (you can use an actual PS4 pad too, although the process is a bit long-winded.

There are plenty of apps for Android, but I haven’t tried any yet - I’m actually going to go and fetch my android tablet with controls built in to see if there’s anything decent.

Been looking for Android. Seems XDA was the developer but the APK doesn't work anymore. ☹️

Yeah, just had a scan but my tablet is old and only supports 2.4Ghz wireless so nothing’s going to be good.

There was an article about the best remote play experiences for consoles that I’m trying to track down, I’m sure there was an iOS suggestion in that.

Dunno if you'r still interested, but I have a Vita I'd swap for a TV.

It the slim LCD one, good condition, but has no extras (no box, games or even power cable, but it's just micro USB so never worried me). Can take pics if interested.

Hi mate, despite the warning above I'll give it a try. I don't use the PSTV so nothing to lose.
    I'll send you a PM.

Xs2man pulled out of the trade owingto the firmware version of the PSTV.
This is back up for trade if anyone is interested.
For avoidance of doubt the PSTV is running 3.69.

A specific firmware was never requested so a standard withdrawal warning will be issued

This isn't the full story and one very good reason why all negotiations are made within the thread before agreeing a deal and moving to PM.
It appears there have been major conversations via PM which are all pertinent to the deal in question and this isn't acceptable, especially to then come back and lay blame on another member for withdrawing when you offered him the opportunity to proceed or not, based on the discussions you've been having.
    As a reminder:
All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread (not by email or Private Conversation). Once a deal is agreed you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalise payment details etc. Your general location and details of equipment are not considered to be valid reasons for using off thread communications. We insist on this rule because we need to see all the negotiations to be able to mediate a solution to a dispute.

    Ok, fair enough.
I didn't realise my post would result in a reprimand to xs2man.
    Noted for future.
    Thanks

Hmmm, I may be interested in this as I have been looking for a pstv for a wee while!

I have an original OLED model VITA that is in good condition - it obviously has some scrapes etc that come with use - but the screen is in fantastic condition and it is in perfect working order!

I have no box for it but I do have a charger and all my games are digital - but you can have my physical copy of COD! Lol please take that

Hi. Sorry for the delay .forgot about this thread! Yeah I'm interested.
Just to be clear the PSTV is running latest firmware. I don't have the box for it. Just the unit and power cable. Is that ok?

That’s fine - I want it for remote play tbh! The same goes for my vita too - it’s the most recent firmware, the unit and the charger! I’ll throw in my copy of COD because it’s totally amazing and no vita collection should be without it! Lol

Good glad it arrived ok. I got a ticket through the door for a parcel so I assume that's it. I'll get it from PO tomorrow. Thanks
