    HP Deskjet 940c.

The error light is flashing constantly and it just won't print at all. If i press the button, it feeds a sheet of paper through and then appears to pull it back a little.

When i open the cover, the ink cartridges don't go into the centre as they should.

I have uninstalled and re-installed but no joy

    Any ideas?

Try unplugging from the mains and leave for a couple of hours. Then re-connect.

I have an Epson and if the lever for the pressure gets move it starts throwing a wobbler. If you have one move it to an other position, not saying it will help but it is worth a try.
