My pioneer 505xde just went pop

    the screen just went pop and now is dead, 3 months old what do i do?????

    This sound very worrying.
    Maby it s a power supply or sth.
    Call your dealer to check it out.
    If it s sth that can't be fixed, he got to change it with a brand new screen
    if it s under warranty

    Contact Pioneer directly. They tend to respond well with items in warranty facing such problems.

    Repaired Quickly Apparent It Was Was Of The X 7 Y Boards They Replaced Both And The Psu Board - Quick Tip On Plasma Buzzing - This Could Be Due To Loose Screws On The Boards When Tightened This Reduces The Buzzing Noise....

    where would one tighten these? are they on the Panel or Media Box?

    On The Plasma Undo The 20 Screws At The Back Of The Plasma At Your Own Risk And The Three Main Boards (very Easy To See) Tighten The Screws Holding The Boards Onto The Plasma - The Engineers Did This For Me As I Watched So Looked Easy But Make Sure They Said That You Power Down The Plasma First Then The Media Box, Take Power Leads Out Etc

    Like I Said This Is What They Told Me So Could Be True Or Could Be False All I Know Is That The Buzzing Is Alot Less Than Before... If Any
