according to the list on this forum. It does however accept 720p/60 as well as both 50/60 in 1080i.

Can anyone offer my any hope of being able to view Sky's new service in all its glory?

(apologies for cross posting this in the HDTV forum already but someone has already seen fit to slap me on the wrists :) )

I think you should be fine, Sky haven't given us many details yet but if the situation is anything like the US then you'll be able to set your decoder to outut the format your TV likes best.

    To quote http://www.sky.com/hd

"Your TV must be capable of displaying both 1080i/25 and 720p/50"

Note that it says "both" not "or", I'd assume that 720p/50 is a necessity. If it wasn't an issue, you'd have thought they would have left it as 720p rather than 720p/50.

EDIT: Looking further into the site, they change their tune to "either 1080i/25 or 720p/50"... So, who knows???

Samsung LW32A33W - annoyingly Home Cinema Choice listed it as HD ready. Clearly incorrect based on what I've read.
