Bugger my DVD recorder has just given up the ghost and now turns itself off after about 10 minutes of being on :(

The good news is when I bought it from Richer Sounds I actually took out the 3 year warrenty on it

The bad news is I've moved twice since I bought it and don't know where the warrenty is  as apparently you need your original copy of it to claim on it :thumbsdown

Fairly sure I saw a poster advertising the repair centre in the Reading branch of Richer Sounds. I think, from memory, it was £15(30 min labour)+ parts. May just be the larger stores, but could be worth a phone call/visit to you local shop.

It might have taken a while to find, but I finally found the extended warrenty and have to say Richer Sounds were brilliant, dropped it of and they took care of everything and gave me a loan DVD recorder until mine is fixed!!

I really couldn't be happier, best £30 I've spent in ages
