my dad drove a white granada for a while, used to stick the nose out of our lane on to the main road, you could hear the brakes squealing. a biker once went past standing on his front wheel, they do some speeds down that road.

Walk down to the end of the road in the evening and you will see it in front of my old 2.0CD

Also watch out in the mornings between 08:25 and 08:35

I used to have a Carlton 3000 GSi 24V in white. Sure did put the willies up a few motorists. :D

One of the best cars I've owned. :)

Personally, I wouldn't have a Vauxhall thrown at me. As far as I'm concerned, they are one of the worst makes that you can buy, I won't go into it. The next car that I would buy is hopefully going to be the new mkV VW Golf R32 which will be out sometime in November. A 3.2 litre V6 FSI with 250PS & 0-60MPH at about 6 seconds, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!! Oh, I'll be getting it with Audi's DSG flappy paddle gearbox which shaves alot off the 0-60 time.

Neil, I'm sorry, I have to disagree.

The Vauxhall Carlton I had was a stonking piece of kit and far quicker to sixty than some would expect (6.2 secs) with a non flappy paddle (unreliable) DSG box of the Audi. And remember, the previous R32 went well but didn't handle. Its not all about going fast in a straight line. :D

My last 4 cars have been big Vauxhalls, and they have all been good cars, they handle well, are comfortable, and the autos are some of the best out there.

My current car is foot to floor and hang on. It is brilliant!
