Either my eyesight is going or I need a better monitor. but that has to be the smallest text I have ever seen on a web site. Nice style though

Yes the text is far too small ... as a matter of interest what software did you use.

Forgot to mention ... the design is excellent

While Leon gets to grips with the font size, enlarge your browser window to the max, Flash is scalable and so the bigger your window, the bigger the flash image.

A good example of why and when not to use flash.

Flash is a very versatile language, and if you manage to execute the multiplatform display correctly, it will beat the crap out of every other language for sparkle....

you can create a php backend and run it through flash too

    Big Patsy

The wallpaper look great to me...don't tell me that you are a MAGNOLIA person.

The HC looks very impressive, very unimposing when not in use and the TV position makes the setup versatile. Avery important factor is that it is also very child friendly. I think that I've seen one of those pictures in the "Letters" section of a past edition of Home Cinema Choice?

    Conor

Oh yea...the text is very small (no matter how hard I tried to resist I still had to say that...sorry)

Leon - listen to your audience, telling them to right-click and then pan around is hardly good interface design!
You obviously put in a lot of work but surely the only reason to do it is for people to look at.
I know I have a high res monitor and small fonts so I always test on a variety of machines (especially when using Flash or Stylesheets)

Having said that, I rushed SEVENFOOTFILM and was expectng people to complain about the font size on that too :)

Besides, right-clicking on your site doesn't work - it just says "About Macromedia Flash Player 5..." I'm not too sure whether this is a setting you can change or not.

Thank you for those last positive remarks.
flash is very hard to use ,to make a html site with pictures would take about 10 mins but flash takes weeks
.i took the right click bit out because some people with small monitors and low res could not see it .so i pulblished the movie in a pixel state rather than 100x100 ,people now with small monitors can use the side bars to move site up and down ,
you have made my day with some positive remarks......i thought it might just have been all negative ,and some people getting personal about the decoration.
as they say you cant please everyone all the time .:(
just thought the site may help someone

Having re-read my post it doesn't sound positive at all! Sorry.
Now I don't know whether you're being sarcastic or not.

I hate writing - the sooner I can communicate on these forums using speach the better:D

Displaying usefull, informative images in flash is indeed very difficult. By the time you've satified all the window sizes you end up with a really small space to fit everything in!

On our own website Fi Direct the main problem was doing the 'clients' section where we were trying to show examples of A4 pages in only a couple of hundred pixel squares!

Have a look and let me know if you can't read the text:D

    Regards
    Alex

congrats on the site looks good

one thing i would like to know is . do you have any probs with reflections of the tv screen when using the projector . i was thinking of getting a 16:9 screen but one of the resons i got 4:3 was to cover the tv better .

the text is a little small but you can read it so i don't see to much of a problem with it, the site still works well to show off your cinema ;)
