    Hi chaps,
Just a note to say i have my hcpc up & running.
All i can say i was well worth the hassle to get this baby up & running the pictures & sound are absolutely stunning.
    The spec is as follows:
    Intel p3 700 cpu
    Soyo mobo
    256mb cas2 crucial pc133 memory
    IBM 30gig UDMA 100 HDD
Hitatchi 7500 dvd reflashed firmware for multi region playback
    Audiophile 24/96 soundcard
Elsa erazor geforce2 mx video card
    Suntek Viper desktop case.
    Airkey infrared k/board
IRman infrared controller (for later use when i get a pronto/marantz zapper)
Ok i grant you it looks like a pc,i may spray it with plastikote later.
I,m running windvd 2.6 (better picture than power dvd 3)
Had some minor stutter problems but now sorted with windvd 2.6 & direct x 8a don't know what it done but the slow panning is nigh on perfect.
Thanks to all who helped me esp' to craig crane,Jeff,Alan Roser etc etc for their invaluable input.
Still tweaking but to anyone who is wondering is it worth it i'd say to them go for it it's the mutz nutz
    Cheers

    Tim

    Tim,

I just noticed that you went for the hacked Hitachi firmware. Hows it going?, I had a lot of problems with it and had to go back to the unhacked IBM version. If your not having any problems with it I might give it another go.

As for the name how about Hudzen 10. :)
