I've saved and saved and saved, now I've finally got it, my Arcam DIVA A85 stereo integrated amplifier, bought secondhand for £500 from ebay (God bless E-Bay :D ), and loving every minute with it. Soooo much smoother than my old Arcam A65+ and handle itself soo much better at louder volumes (Yipee!!), vastly supperior resolution too.

I particular like the way you can customise the welcome message, I was gonna make mine say "I'm scared Dave, my mind is going....Daisy, Daisy....."* but allas it won't let me have that many letters :( so it just says "Hey, hands off!"

I've also got myself some decent HIFI racking as well, Sound Organisation Z560, to put everything on. Have two shelves left, guess I'll save them for an Arcam P85 power amp and a home cinema receiver/processor, coming soon!

Now for my next upgrade, a set of Mission 782SE floorstanders to give me some much needed bass over my existing Mission M51 standmounts. Can't wait!!

    I love this hobby! :zonked:

*A reference to '2001: A Space Oddysey' just in case you're wondering :smashin:

Er, adc......are you using all these speakers in a single surround setup?

"b&w vm1, wharfedale tupaz SW-15, Eltax Millenium 500, Acoustic Solutions AV80 2, two full range bookshelf rears".

Sounds like the ultimate nightmare in speaker tone matching! Please tell me you have several setups, some for music and some for DVD/games.
