excellent news mate, thanks for that.
I borrowed it on VHS (subtitled) years ago and we loved it (me, missus and kids) but since then I;ve only ever been able to find an offical Jap VCD which doesn;t have subs or dub.
    Missus will be well chuffed..:)

Dont waste your money !!! Its a crappy quick release because Fox 's license is up so they are just trying to get a quick bit of cash before the license goes back to studio ghibli and disney. The dvd is Full frame and Eng lang only !! See Here http://www.dvddebate.com/article.php?sid=3056
Wait for Disney to release it properly with its original soundtrack and in its correct ratio OR get the superb Japanese dvd (which will be expensive) OR get the good R3 HK dvd from dddhouse for aprox £14 see here http://www.dddhouse.com/cgi-local/product.cgi?product_id=2151&category_id=35

    Hi,

Get the Japanese Region 2 version on DVD, as it's a double-disc version, with the film on disc 1, and the extras on disc 2.

The film is in both English, and Japanese with English subtitles, as well as being in the correct 1.85:1 aspect ratio, AND it's anamorphic as well!!! :)

A superb film, on a superb double disc set, even at about £35 on import!

Import it now, and you won't regret it! Screw Disney! They don't need any more of your money!
