This will be my last entry in this forum because it is getting ridiculous now!. This website is so biased towards Panasonic its unbelievable, if you dare speak a slight word against the mighty Panasonic you are like a lamb to the slaughter.

Anyway good luck to [NAME REMOVED BY MODERATOR: codlod] ( and others ) with your brain washing people into buying Panasonics ( they are good but there ARE OTHER PLASMA TVS IN THIS WORLD ).

I have better things to do than get in childish arguments with the likes of the people on here.

Thankyou for all the help to the genuine people on this site who helped me towards buying my plasma.

    Bye Bye :hiya:

so before you go off in to the sun set, what plasma did you get? Why? how much was it and where from?

Also , if you are going to call other people names, especially people who do know what they are talking about, then maybe, (with out trying to upset you) the forums might be better of , if this was your last post. Just an absovation you understand. :)

...looks like he bought the budget plasma after all, then crashed and burned trying to get everyone else to 'ok' his purchase.

There will always be people who pay more to get the best. Some people go daft (and we all have different 'daft' limits!) and some people muddle through. Some people wait till cutting edge technology is cheaper.... errr and no longer cutting edge, and some people want it NOW.

To pick several fights with many happy owners of the most popular brand on the forum was always going to end in tears........ boo hoo

Some people do understand where he's coming from. i do. but you are missing out on a huge wealth of info on this site.

First and foremost the forum is a business. And the advertisers need to see sales from the forum or they wont advertise... simple. You may not remember the days of Uncle Eric and his many alias which pushed his "Velodyne Subwoofers" to the insane limits!!!!
Ammusing times indeed. Take a forum search.....

I want to put a positive comment on here before being dragged away by Mrs SJb:

This forum is great for those of us looking to upgrade their home cinema system and thanks to all those that take time and effort to give advice.

I went to a TV specialist last week who knew less than me and compared to many on this site I know nowt! :)

Well if giving people recommendtions that they asked for is slagging every other make off then where all doomed.

How do you go through life if this is how you act just cos someone recommends a diff TV than your opinion.

Ross-p you are cutting off your nose to spite your face. Everybody knows that this Forum is dominated by the Pioneer and Panasonic brigade. Have you not seen all of the threads posted by the whingers ?
"My PW7 doesn`t work properly can you help me"
    "Trouble connecting my Pioneer"
Every new member asking advice is immediately answered with a Panasonic model number and av sales recommendation.
Get your own back ! In an idle moment dare to criticise Panasonic, or Pioneer, and have some fun.
Just remember the "Kings new clothes" syndrome. If people are told often enough that something is good they will actually begin to believe it.
Whoever posted "Go on buy a panny, you know you wanna" would seem an ideal candidate for any amount of fun.
You have to remember that the people who recommend Panasonic the most are either veteran members, senior members or retailers. Thereby hangs a tale.
Also remember there is nothing better than a good childish argument especially if you instigate it.
Then there is Mr. Sheekey who says "The forums would be better of" and "Just an absovation".
Leave if you must but think of the laughs to be had before doing so.

Then there is Mr. Sheekey who says "The forums would be better of" and "Just an observation".
Leave if you must but think of the laughs to be had before doing so.[/QUOTE]

    Your point being what exactly?

I read the post before it was altered by a one of the mods. It was a direct insult to one of the members of these very forums. Its simply not on, childish argument or serious debate is fine, personal insults are out of order.

If people are going to get personal just because they have a different view from someone else , than my observation is that the forums would be better of without some one who is going to insult other members by name calling.

I have been a member on the forums for a while now. I have posted some daft things without thinking and said my sorrys for doing so. There was one incident that i was involved with that did cause offense to another member regarding piracy. Again this was not intentional and never ment as personal. Name calling and insults are personal though and again I must say that any thing like it is out of order :lesson:

It's also conceivable that he's found out his new baby is a pile of tosh and needs another forum to ask for help.

I didn't read it that he was attacking you. Your opinion (better off etc) was probably the balance to his own argument.
