As you can see this is the beginning of my home cinema.

No the screen isnt going to be on the wall opposite the sofa, it will pull down over the door and far wall, I have the screen im just waiting for the pj to arrive (which will be tomorrow) to put it up.

The sound system is the Bush dvdav11k. The system is and 70w works great in a room of this size. The speaker stands are made by sona, and after alot of struggling last sunday afternoon they were finally built.

Yes the large TCM and kil lbill 2 poster are going, and i shall be framing some smaller ones.

The screen i got yesterday from focus at £50, a great price i think for a 72 inch screen. Well, i say screen but its a blackout blind, which i am going to have to put up some black brackets to hold it.

And last of all is the pj. Which is..........(heres come the controversy) a Titan Proline universal projector, yep, the £209 one. Yes, I know this is not as good quality as other pjs put it is adequate, especially for a room of this size.

I will be posting more pics over the following days and hopefully it should all be nicely finished by saturday.

I worked out it will all be just under £400, not bad i dont think...

Well the rooms itself is fairly large, over 6m probably closer to 7. However, the end of the room still will act as a spare bedroom, but the area where the cinema will be as about 4 m long, and with the projector near the back the proejcted image will be 61 inches.

Well done on an amazingly cost effective setup.

I've seen very little mention of the projector you are using on the DLP/LCD projectors forum. Once you've had chance to get used to it, your first hand experience would be appreciated I'm sure...PJ :)
