That is a really impressive collection! I can clearly see that you are "in the business" for quite some time... Looks like the Doom collection is the crown jewel of your room, am I right?

Just of pure curiosity - have you ever wondered how valuable such Doom collection could be? I've recently read an article about old games gaining value and the author suggested that this might be a good investment...

i think what i have pictured is around the £60-100k (some prices fluctuate wildly) some sealed graded games i have are worth 5k alone, maybe more maybe less, I'm not sure what a full original Xbox collection would be worth, but it hasn't always been like this all this stuff used to be relatively cheap. some of the bigger items i have are stored but i know the original 93 fully registered doom pc big box is quite valuable, alot of people ask about the value, to be frank i could care less if a given game i want is worth 1p or 100k and i feel that said articles talking about investments is what has actually ruined this hobby.

I totally agree with you. As I'm not an expert here, I was wondering what kind of worth could it be, nothing more. Personally, I think I still have some older games and I would never consider selling them. Good memories are way more valuable than some cash, which sooner or later disappears...
