Took the plunge and started my own little home cinema lol, got rid of the fireplace and put the av equipment in its place. I got the onkyo 3405, sky hd 1tb Samsung 3d blu ray, Xbox 360 slim and apple tv and Sammy ue55d7000 all in all I'm happy with it so far just a new floor and some finishing touches

Thanks, its not that high though it may seem that way from the pictures, also I didn't want it too low where the kids grubby fingers could reach it lol!

Looks nice :smashin:, I did the same and removed our fire place and put all the av boxes in there, makes it look much cleaner and modern.

Your right it does, plus the fireplace wastes a lot of space in the lounge, I have to say I love the look of your dedicated room maybe one day when the kids are grown up and move out lol!!

New monitor audio vectors £50 a pair in richer sounds. They make a world of difference after the supplied onkyo speakers decided to call it a day on me.
