How have you fitted the LED lights around the walls and where it meets the ceiling?
Or is that just the glow from where you have mounted presumably behind the plasterboard where the TV is?

I have mounted the LED lighting on the framework behind the MDF sheets. I used pvcu trim around the sides of the frame to give it a nice clean finish.
I used a 10m LED strip so it runs behind the whole frame and up into the cable recess and up behind the tv and then around the tv - yes is it that long!

    Nice.

So is the light you are getting that runs across the ceiling and down the side of the 2 adjacent walls just the reflection from the strip that is mounted on the framework behind the MDF sheets?

to be fair, she helped a lot in the process. she did most of the painting and didnt mind getting stuck in - she knew that she would have to twist my arm to get the black wallpaper on the false wall so did her bit to get what she wanted

the leather sofas are about 13 years old, got them from Courts Sofas when it was around.
I was very tempted to change them for these:

Spider Leather Sofa Range | sofaworks

i would have got a red besta unit to match the sofa's/colour theme but at £1600 for a pair and my impending 'pilgrimage to Mecca' (cost approx £12k) i decided against it.

That's a lovely set up. I love the lights but wonder if something like that would work with a projector or would it interfere with the overall picture quality?

I'm currently going through this section "scrap booking" inspiration for my upcoming cinema relocation project.

I think it would interfere as the lights are bright but you can adjust the brightness

It's a great look, possibly something I could try elsewhere in the room. I love all the ideas and planning for my new cinema, ive got a perfect room for it unfortunately I barely know one end of a screwdriver from the other, and have to rely on my wife aka the man of the house, for anything DIY.

Its not difficult to be honest but you do not some idea.
Best to draw/plan out exactly what you want and get somebody in to help you or do it for you.

Im starting mine on Monday, gotta Have my tv attached to the solid wall though because its soo heavy and bulky compared to the more modern tellies plus I need to hide its fat bum insude the wall!
Where did you get ur leds from? My little girl is more excited about having pink lights around the tv than anything else! (Not gonna be pink shhhhh!)
