I was sorting in the loft and came across this, my first digital camera a Kodak DC 4800.I must of bought it about 8 or 9 years ago and I think it cost me about £400, thats more than I paid for my Canon 450:eek: I also bought a wide angle and telephoto lens that had to be mounted on an adaptor, cant remember if the CF card came with it but an 8 meg card:eek: I did get more cards and I'm sure I paid about £30 for a 128 meg one.I still have all the paper work and cables, who knows might be worth something in the future:D

How technology moves on, I remember begin on holiday in Spain and showing everybody the snaps I had taken on the LCD screen, not many digi cams around then.Thought I would share my antique with you:D

Looks like new! Be good to see some shots taken with it and to see some taken with your dslr to compare. Definately worth keeping for centimental value if nothing else.

My first digital camera was a 1 megapixel Fuji that was a wedding present!

Looking forward to seeing you and it on the Antiques Roadshow :rotfl:

Nice shots of a piece worth keeping.
