Hi guys, I'm new to this forum..

I've been shopping around in order to make my first foray into audio enthusiast land.. I am looking for a good lower-gamut system.

Right now I'm deciding between the CA 540A, the NAD C320BEE, and the SimAudio Moon i-5080 preamps... to likely be driven with either totem mites, totem rainmakers, or Dynaudio Audience 42s or 52s. The system would be in my bedroom, hooked up to my computer.

Does anyone have experience with any of these components and have any advice to share?

    Thanks greatly :)

I don't know the SimAudio components, but for HT the CA 540R is a good choice and it helps that it is good in stereo mode as well.

However if you intend to have a stereo only system, I would go the NAD C320BEE route as it is a stereo amplifier.
