My cable comparison results

    Not very scientific, but I got the Farnell/CPC 10m RGB cables for £28 +vat, cheaper 5m one for around £5 +vat and compared those to some I made some up myself using some double shielded cable (28ft) and some £2 phono connectors from maplins (£12).

    I couldn't see any difference what so-ever. The cheapie ones for £5 are obviously the best value, though the £28 ones looked more substantial and will probably be less prone to interference if ran with mains cables.

    Of course the Philips 963 i'm using probably isn't the best dvd player to use, but the output to the pj looked equaly crap with either cable. :)
