I bought a Pioneer DV444, multi-region, RCE comp.
I use it with a LG flatron TV, and a QED Squart cable.

The problem is that when watching DVD's, on the top bar which is ment to be blaco is sort of redish, the bottom one is ok.

Also when a scene has a black backgroung and there's someting brighter in front there id a lighter shading that goes from the top of the viewing area to the top of the object. It goes up/down acording to the position of the object.
Hard to expelain but it's really getting on my nerves...
I tried to ajust the brightness on the TV but this only disapears when the picture is rather dark and you can't see half of the things on the screen....
Please Help!

Cheers

try your dvd player with a different tv, if u can. then u can rule out the tv, if the problem is still present, or vice versa.

don't think it's the tv.
When watching TV (digital) the black are black, rather than what happens when watching dvd's.
I bought the dvd by post order from electro centre. Should i go and pester them?!
