does make you wonder some times, ive had nearly 9000 views on mine and i can count on my hands the comments ive had (you think your doing something wrong and that somehow all your work is not liked by others) but if your happy with your setup then it does not matter.nice room and i will rate aswell.keep it up.im starting to see more younger people on here, someone has mentioned on here about finding out the average age of the forum users, wonder what it would be.

hindle8907, I congratulate you, it's a mighty fine set up. When I was 18, my mother would have gone mental if I'd had all that stuff. So i waited til I moved out, and got it all (I'm hoping to actually get a few photos and put up one of these threads myself soon!). But I have some burning questions for you!!!

Like you I have a PS3, and for weeks now I have been agonising over which LPCM capable AV receiver to buy, and currently I'm agonising between the sony str-dg910, and the AV761, which I see you own, as well as a PS3! As AV761 owners are extremely rare at the moment, I would be extremely grateful if you could tell me what the little bad boy is like?? :)

Personally, for my set-up, the only real benefit I can see over the sony is bi-amping my front speakers, and the fact that I've always loved yamaha amps. The scene buttons look quite nifty too (albeit not a dealbreaker!). So I'm not sure if it's worth the extra £80...but it is a tough decision.

Also, how hot does it get? I'd only be able to give it about 1cm of breathing space on top, but quite a bit at the sides - do you reckon it would cook itself if it was on for 5-6 hours (the most i usually use my amp for).

Lastly - what's the remote like? Am i right in understanding it is a universal remote which can learn functions from other remotes?

Any help would be massively appreciated, cheers matey :smashin:
