head over to www.mx2.co.uk where they have tons of dvd's from as little as £2.99!

If you can't find at least one, you're not trying hard enough ;) The dvd's are spread throughout the various genre sections in their menu, don't just check out the special offer page cos there's hardly anything on it.

I can't take credit for finding this, i saw the bargain on another forum but thought it could do with being over here too..

    I've ordered:

Night Of The Living Dead (remake)
    Ring 2
Jack Dee Live In London 1997
    Rocky Horror Picture Show
    The Human Stain
    Spy Kids 3D
    The Eye
    Assassins
Creature Features Films - 3 DVD Box Set
Last Fast Show Ever, The Vol. 1
    The Hunted
    Gigli

ok so there's some crap in there (gigli for instance.. how bad can it be?) but at £3 a pop, i can't help myself ;)

Nice...quite a few family ones that will give me some peace (Chitty chitty bang bang, Titan AE, Pokemon movies, Muppet movies....Sound of music even)

Gonna skip Gigili. I don't want to find out how bad it is :)

I've been putting off adding Village Of The Dammed to my Carpenter collection for ages as it's by far his weakest film (IMHO), but for 3 quid it would be rude not to!

    Also went for...

Sweet And Lowdown (another Woody pic, making that 14 in my collection)
Shattered Glass (just to see if young Hayden really can act!)
Lost Souls (Spielberg's preferred DP's directorial debut, some say it's dull but most say it's beautiful to look at)
The Swarm (70's Irwin Allen craptacular! :rotfl: )

...all for just under £15. :smashin:

    Thanks to the OP.

    Game Of Death
    Play Misty for Me

    Shattered Glass
    Election
    Rules Of Engagement
    Dolores Clairborne
    Red Wolf
    Lovers Of The Arctic Circle
    Mississippi Burning

Less than £40 for the lot... bargain. :smashin:

Cheers for the tip I have just ordered these titles.

    STAR TREK 2 WRATH OF KHAN SPECIAL - 1 x 2.99 = 2.99
    Star Trek: Undiscovered Counrty - 1 x 2.99 = 2.99
    Dtox - 1 x 2.99 = 2.99
    Mimic 2 - 1 x 2.99 = 2.99
    Bedazzled - 1 x 2.99 = 2.99

    Total £14.95

I just got an email saying that all of my choices are no longer stocked and I have been refunded my money. What a waste of time that was, all 5 films are discontinued. :suicide:

The law is on our side - you can send them back and get a refund if that is the case. It's the rule of buying online, you have seven days to return any item for a refund and you don't need to give a reason, even though it could be as simple as not liking something. The only part you'll lose money is the postage costs back.

pretty unlikely they'd have managed to source 4:3 versions of region 2 dvds where none exist. It's generally only the US where they release seperate 4:3 versions of dvd's because for some reason, widescreen doesn't appear to have taken off over there. Just check on dvdcompare.net to find out what you're getting. The only thing you might find is that stuff like rocky horror (if it ships) could be the 1 disc rather than the 2 disc but for £2.99 who's really going to cry about that?

looks like it, although i havent found any of newbie's ones yet..

i've also noticed some of the "obsolete" ones are back at a higher price, surely that's against some sort of law?
