MW3 cheats getting banned

GhostDogX

Robert Bowling said in the case of Modern Warfare 3 different bans were available depending on how serious the cheating was.
"Every ban unique to the level of douchiness of the offense.
"The greater the douche the greater the length. PermaDouche possible."

"Douchiness" is now my official word of the day.

What a legend.

Good to see more support in the role of 'bans' by IW :smashin:

I've seen many boosters and reported all of them - I've also had a few offensive messages from players and reported them too.

If Douchiness was ever used to describe someone, then that Robert Bowling is that person. Poor guy comes out with no end of rubbish and lies, basically he is just an Activision patsy.

Is there a way of reporting someone for cheating other then the grief report?

I wouldn't usually care but would like to make an example of some cocky little germ who said he couldn't be banned. He was doing the unlimited air strikes glitch, I have game saved in theatre plus his message.

His PSN is x_RALSTON98_x

Some people like tweet the video to him or something. You could try that if you are a twitterer.

The stealth bomber one was patch a few days ago unless they did a terrible job at patching it and someone found another workaround.

The one that masked is talking about was constant Predators and the Hinds - literally one after the other... I shot two down in quick succession and a third came and so on...

Have they fixed the glitch where if you had blind assist on you can see the stealth bomber on your mini map?

No I still use that myself to avoid the nub bombers

Is there a link or somewhere online to report the chimp who was cheating ? I'm thinking forum power could come into effect . If a few of us report him surely something will be done?

I think the report player button in game is the best option. Sure Robert Bowling has said that himself too. Suppose it wont harm to tweet them a video of it though.

Weird coincidence , just went to load up the cheating game in my 'online theatre' and now it says 'out of memory error 7' and will not play. I still have his message though and exact details on time and date of game

Is it possible all your ammo was full?

Interesting, I've had games where I had scav from specialist and guys I killed didn't drop bags... but never where they wouldn't let me pick them up if they were laying there unless I was completely full.

I know I called this out to the clan, just in case someone else was running Scavenger to see if they could collect, but they weren't. I was nearly 5 hours into playing so maybe a little dazed/confused but pretty sure it was the case

When i use specialist i dont seem to have a problem collecting any. Only when i'm full.

May just be glitch in the Matrix.

I know the 360 got an update yesterday for MW3 and that seemed to have rolled back the previous MP number to pre patch. So perhaps its the recent patch that has created extra lag/glitches etc.

It's obvious he's performing a surgical procedure on him with his sniper barrel. Maybe Acupuncture? His shoulder does look a little tense...

The thing is though PSn is free to play online , so they will only set up new accounts :thumbsdow

I even found players boosting in sabotage last week on MW2 :suicide:

It may be possble to ban them based on MAC address which would mean they would need a new PS3 - but there are ways to get around any ban they give you... I just hope they do their best to make it difficult for the cheating little ***** to get back on
