just to give me some ideas of whats out there and would be of any use/interest to me without having to trawl through the appstore

cheers

Here are a few of mine:

XBMC Commander - Awesome app for controlling xbmc on a htpc.
Zite - A custom magazine which learns what you like and adapts.
Atomic Web - Faster and more customisable than Safari.
Engadget - The tech site in an app.
Wallpapers HD - Nice and easy to use.
Sky News - Nice and pretty.
IMDB - Very hand for movie buffs.
Angry Birds - I just love this game.
Infinty Blade - Not had this long but its been fun so far.
Tiki Totems - Another fun pick up and play game.
Lets Golf 2 - Loved the iPhone version and this one is even prettier.
Weather HD - Very pretty and I prefer it to my iPhone fav weather app which is Accuweather which for some reason isnt that great on the iPad.
Sky+ - View the sky planner on your iPad and allows you to setup up recordings. You can also search for programs for upto 2 weeks.
TV Guide - Similar to Sky+ but you cant search ahead for 2 weeks, but you can setup recordings. The interface is also a bit clearer to navigate.

+1 for Zite. If you really spend some time Liking or Disliking the articles, authors, sources etc etc then you end up with a great magazine as it builds your profile and learns what you like

Is there a way of refreshing or updating zite? I've had some repeat articles. And it doesn't seem to change/update with new all that much....

+1 for Flipboard

World of Goo is an excellent game, best iPad game i've got

Excellent guys,, looks like i've got a decent start anyway!!! keep shouting up with any others that you think are of interest though peoples

cheers

AppShopper is essential to keep track of app prices, plus it tells you it's price and update history.

Got loads of games marked and they send you a mail if any of your selection drops.

Iswifter is canny, it allows you to use flash on your iPad by rehosting the brows site and sending it to you. It's not as smooth as it could be, but if you need to see some missing content then this I'd your set answer without jsilbresking.

Appshopper seems very good and just what I was looking for. Cheers. :smashin:

I used app tracker on my iPhone, which ness basic, didn't do £, didn't inform and crashed quite a bit, but appshopper is class, it's actually easier for browsing for games than iTunes app store.

Salem witch trial game currently for 59p is well worth picking up. Really nicely made game, good story, keeps you going, good gameplay though no replay value, but I got 4 hours or so out of it and my lass will do so to when I show her it.

Also addicted to Vegas towers. Sim tower clone, thought have problems connecting to the server right now:(
