Does anyone have any first hand experience with this amp? I'm thinking of upgrading from an Arcam FMJ A22 to the MF A308 to drive my Dynaudio Contour 1.3mkIIs. Would it be a worthwhile upgrade?

The A308 seems to be one of the only other amps to have a 'processor mode' like the Arcam with fixed gain on one of its inputs for home cinema use.

It is a very good amp. Ive been using one for a few months now. I would always recommend this amp as an audition because its a superb bit of kit. I've not actually heard your amp before or your speakers but i would honestley say the 308 is better then any amp in arcams current ranges.
It gives detailed highs and excellent controlled mids but it does lack a bit of weight in the bass department, but thats just being picky:)

For the price it really is a good amp if you shop around ive seen it retail new for £1500.

Thanks. I'll try to get a demo soon. But I haven't been able to find it for less than full RRP. Where did you see it for £1500?
