    may be a simple question but how can i put my music from cds onto my pc harddrive???

    use windows media player or the like and you can "record" them onto your pc

    I think Real Player will allow you to do that and can be downloaded of the web.

    Get yourself a copy of MusicMatch Jukebox. Probably the best sw around.

    You could also try ejukebox, quality app. www.audiosoft.net.

    I agree, the free version of MusicMatch is very good. I haven't used it to rip songs from CD yet, but it has replaced Winamp on my machine for playing MP3s.
