    I have a Sony STR-DB1080 A/V Receiver with 5.1 set-up in my lounge.

    I have two questions:-

    1. Am I right in thinking that if I connect up 2 speakers in the kitchen via the front speakers B terminal & select the A+B speaker setting on the receiver I can then listen to the same music in both the lounge & kitchen?

    2. I may be changing the receiver to the Arcam AVR300 later in the year (to go with the DV79 I recently bought), will the above work with the AVR300?

    Thanks.

The AVR300 has support for a second zone so you could run cables to the kitchen and listen to a source from the 300 there.
