Hi all Just wondering what people have a Music DVD Collection ?
If so what do they have , How many ?
I hope this was not already a Thread ?
There are some good Concerts / Albums out but You Tube seems to be
Cutting the choices back Heavily ?
Nice to Listen to your Favorite Music without Ads or needing to Search for the ones you like.
Yes You Tube remembers the ones you like , But I do enjoy a Good Vibe ?

I have around 120 Blu Ray and over 200 DVD concerts. I actually re-watch these far more than any movies I have. It's the usual suspects I guess -- Allman Bros, Beatles, Sade, Pink Floyd, Roy Orbison, Queen, Crowded House, Alter Bridge, AC/DC, Police, ELO, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, U2, ZZ Top, Phil Collins, David Bowie, Muse, Eagles, Don Henley, Shawn Colvin, Depeche Mode, Rush, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel, Joe Bonamassa, Roger Waters. Hans Zimmer, Yello, etc etc.

Just one 4K one so far -- INXS.

Now that's a lot of Music DVDs , They are getting harder to Obtain.
They definitely are getting harder to get. Fortunately for me, I got the vast majority of mine when they were released or shortly after in Sales. I've probably got rid of half of the total I did have as I replaced some with Blu Ray versions, where available, and traded some unwanted ones in to Music Magpie. I do like my music, especially live concerts. :)

I get a lot of pleasure from playing concerts on my AV system.
You get the best seat in the house with close up performances and sounds.
I would like to have some discs that are no longer readily available.

Just pre-ordered Floyds, "Delicate Sound of Thunder Blu-Ray to add to my Floyd/Waters/Gilmore and Nick Mason collection.
Peter Gabriel's concerts and Steve Hackett's "Genesis Revisited Tours" are some excellent concerts on disc.
Lots of Jimi Hendrix,
Jeff Beck
Joe Bonamassa
Steve Vai
Joe Satriani
Gary Moore.
Robin Trower

Steven Wilson discs have excellent concert performances and videos.
Anathema
Hawkwind
The Pretty Things
King Crimson
Roy Orbison
The Eagles
Joanne Shaw Taylor
Martin Turner.
Fish and Marillion
The Who
Yello

I have far too many to list but of the ones filmed at bigger events, I don't think any come close to this one in terms of trying to catch the crowd atmosphere. Every time I watch it I just want to switch off and go out to a gig. Insane crowd but looks like a lot of fun!

Insanely great show and excellent Blu Ray. I saw them on this tour at the NEC and it's one of the best gigs I've ever been to. The sound was fantastic and the entire NEC all got on their feet when the band came on and I couldn't see anyone sitting down during the entire gig. The whole place was rocking.

I spent some time in Aus in the early 90's and we always used to look forward to Rage, hoping whoever was programming was going to choose stuff that leant towards our musical taste. Occasionally when I look up an underground Aussie band on youtube I'll come across something taken off the telly with the Rage logo on it and it brings fond memories flooding back. What a great show it was.
