I have searched but found nothing!

Anyway, ive got skyhd downstairs at the moment, and want to have sky+ in the bedroom.

Whats the best way to do this, i have a pace v1 sky+ box spare, could i simply get someone to connect it up to the dish (can sky do this?) then ring up and get multiroom without the 12 month contract?

Or do sky make me buy a new box, quoting £199 + £60 to upgrade online?

Multiroom doesn't seem to be an easy thing to get info on, i thought sky were trying to push it?

    Thanks
    Mike

Sky won't install a multiroom box for you unless they supply the box. You could get them to install multiroom with a standard Sky box - I think that they are giving these away nowadays - ask the installer to run a second cable for you, then swap the standard Sky box for your Sky+ box. And keep the Sky box as a spare.

Or you could run the cables yourself, or get an independent local TV installer to run the cables for you. My local guy charged me £30 to run two cables from my dish to a spare room - but that was a couple of years ago.
