I don't have Multiroom, but I was wondering if it allows you to transfer recordings recordings from one sky+ stb to the other (via ethernet)?

I'm sure it doesn't but it seems such a useful and obvious feature for Sky to include.

Useful yes but since the recording would then have to be playable on a machine with another smartcard they would have to tweak Videoguard and SKY tend to be very conservative about that sort of thing even when NDS probably provides a solution.

SKY will probably see the server/client system as providing that sort of flexibility and the kicker will be it's major marketing and revenue benefits which most SKY+ user suggestions don't provide:)
