Multiregion BluRay/HD Player??

I know that HD is region free, but are the machines region free? If so which is the best one to go for (a PS3 isn't a consideration)

Are there any MR Blu Ray players available as about 50% of my DVDs are R1.

An online store in Sweden is selling Dual-region Blu-ray machines. They claim that they can play Region A and B as well as Region 1 and 2 SD DVD, which is just short of perfect for me:
