Hello, I just moved into a new house without a TV aerial. I have bought one and want to fix it in the loft. I find that there are 8 separate coax cables in the loft, each leading down to a different room in the house. I'd like to know how I can connect each cable to the same aerial because it looks like the aerial is only designed to take one cable. Thanks for any advice.

Buy an aerial amplifier with 8 outputs. Feed each cable from its own output on the amplifier.

    levers,

    Welcome to the forums :)

As Nick says you'll need something like this.

It will need a mains power supply, but this can be tapped off a lighting circuit if you've no socket outlets in the loft.

If you're not comfortable with messing around with the circuits the usual extortions about consulting a qualified electrician apply :)
