Hello – thank you for taking the time to read my thread.

I would like to know if It is possible to buy a screen splitter (or whatever they are called) – where I could have different sources displayed on my plasma- say if I attached 4 different DTT boxes to have 4 split windows on the plasma displaying all 4 channels?

Thanks, its just an idea I had.

    Hello
    Thank you for your reply

So you have the splitter for the CCTV - Do you have any photographs that you can show me of the quad on your plasma? would love to see that

I assume that PQ means picture quality? - Im a news junkie and would like to have a plasma displaying like 4 news channels (lol i know it sounds strange lol)

I use an 8 channel splitter for cctv at home, i plug this into a distribution amp and send it round the tv's in the house so they all have a seperate av input, works well.

It seems a tad expensive to buy 4 stb's and a splitter, although you could do it for £250 i suppose.

Cant understand why you want to watch 4 news channels at once mind, i try to avoid the news by watching the Simpsons :)

    Thanks for your reply.

I like to see how the networks cover the news etc , i.e breaking news.

What would the picture quality be like if i did get that box or similar to what you had to split the screen?

Ahhh a bit of research then.

The pq is very watchable, for what you want to do it would be perfect, i'm not 100% sure, but i dont think you will find a cheaper way to do it.

Saying that i have a Dell 20" monitor and you can feed it 2 video inputs that can go pip, £600 though and still not enough inputs for you........

The £50 splitter is the way i would go, with the Simpsons of course...... :)

    Hi Again

    Thanks for your reply.

I've looked at a picture of the back of the splitter box. Which lead would i need to connect the DTT box to the Splitter box?

    Thanks
